425. GITA 9 : PARAMA GUHYA GNANAM

GITA  9   :    PARAMA   GUHYA  GNANAM

 19]   Ch. 9          Slokam      22

Ananyaaschintayantomaam ye janaa: paryupaasate
Teshaam nityaabi yuktaanaam yoga kshemam vahaamyaham

Without thinking any other thing, always recollect me, remember me, otherwise do puja etc. then I will be protecting you.

Ananyaaschintayantomaam
1.      To remember god like this one needs to know that god is so great.
It may be said by his
guru                [ in the case of siddaiah by his guru Veerabrahmam],
parents            [ father who said that Dhruva was donated to the Yama]
concubine       [in the case of Vemana by Viswada]
…..

2.      Only he who suffered a lot from others
Kuchela was the friend of Krishna. He was utterly poor. When he could not pull on the wheel of family’s life, on the advice of his wife he approached Krishna thinking Ananyaaschintayantomaam The lord blessing him with whatever he wanted.
As promised He kept His promise yoga kshemam vahaamyaham.

3.      Only he who faced a great life or death crisis.
[ A ]    Vardhamana Mahaveera and Bharath were two brothers. When the situation came to share the kingdom, Mahaveera asked Bharath to fight a duel. While fighting, a situation came in such a way that Bharath had taken chariot’s wheel and ready to kill Vardhamana. Suddenly Vardhamana got enlighted and realised that there was no value to brother but kingdom. Then he renounced the world and went in search of truth. The same one became Vardha Maha Veera or Baahu Bali or Gomateswara….
In this case his Ananyaaschintayantomaam came when he was about to be murdered by his own brother.
So he got enlightened and realised the essence of life.
He decided that his purpose in life was something else.
That was the same great soul who became the Tirdhankara and set going to enlighten the common people.
On his name only started Jain religion.
Instead of   land he remained in the hearts of millions of people to come for generations.
This is the clear evidence that yoga kshemam vahaamyaham.

4.      Only he who experienced truth and realised that there is nothing in this world
[ B ]   If we take in the case of Valmiki:
Valmiki was a boyavadu, and was famous as a bandit. He was collecting money from those who were passing by the forest. One day Narada was happened to pass through that area. The bandit caught him and demanded for whatever costly items he had should be handed over to him.
Narada = N
Boyavadu = B
N :       why are you doing all these things?
B :        to feed my wife and children
N :       do they share a part of sin  that you have been accumulating?
B :        [ he was noting what is sin? Narada explained him]
            Why not?
            They are supposed to do.
N :       go home and ask them the same.
B :        [ he went home and asked his wife]
            I have been doing so many sins to feed you.
Do you share sin committed by me?
W :      No. You married me. Then it becomes your duty to feed me. I am not bothered how you bring this booty.
The bandit got surprised and shocked.
Then he went to his sun and asked the same.
He received the same type of reply from him also.
Then the bandit realised that there is nothing in this world.
So he asked Narada what to do?
….
As far as possible, things go smoothly, no problem comes.
When we realise the truths we may not withstand for it.
Then comes the concept Ananyaaschintayantomaam comes and surrenders to god
Whole-heartedly.
In such souls no second thought comes about the world.
The question of Narada, a sage changed the course of the tribal man’s life.
That is the essence of the company of the great souls.
We enlighten ourselves and also enlighten those who come on the way.
That tribal became the Valmiki who wrote RAMAYANAM.
This is the evidence that yoga kshemam vahaamyaham.

5.      Only he who realised that except god nobody can save him
Taking birth to such and such woman is not our choice.
So and so day is a great so that if we die, we can reach heaven – No.
From birth to death it is our choice to live greatly.
Greatly in such a way that the world will remember us.
“isa rahaa karo, kare log aarju
Isi challan chalo ke jamana misaal de”
[Urdu]

20]     Ch. 9           Slokam  26

Patram pushpam phalam toyam   yome bhaktya prachanti
Tadaham bhakyupahrutamahyami prahataatmana:

In this slokam Krishna says opens that he is away from hypocracy, false prestiges, bombastic rituals, etc.
 He says that he is more pleased with the devotee offering him a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water.

Patram                                    = a leaf
pushpam                                 = a flower
phalam                                    = a fruit

It is not the item but with how much dedication  that thing is offered is important.

Expressive items of Sookshma shareeram     = 4
Manassu                     = manasu [ actually Ramana Maharshi says that there is no definite place to manasu in our body.
                                    Actually it is the other side of coin of brain.
                                    That was why he questioned “Kim swaroopa midi atma darshane….”
Buddhi                       = mind
Ahamkaaram              = arrogance
