418. Ch. 2 Gita Saaram

Ch. 2       Gita  Saaram

2]     Ch. 2     Slokam 10

Tamu wacha hrushi kesa, prahasanniva bharatha

Hrushikesa laughed. He decided that at last Arjuna had come into his fold. He never got a chance to tell Arjuna about Gita. That was the best chance.

It was the right time. He was in depression. Whatever he felt, he felt it was right. There was no cross check.

Arjuna was very happy. He was very lucky. It was because he had in front of him Krishna who could clear off all his doubts.

On one side the war is in progress, and on the other side Krishna was teaching Gita to Arjuna.

They were together for many years but Krishna did not expose that he knew that.
He was teaching the importance of
1.      Karma Yoga
2.      Bhakti Yoga
3.      Raja Yoga
4.      Gnana Yoga

At last Arjuna chose Gnana Yoga after listening which he said that all his doubts were cleared. He was ready to fight.

Krishna is the greatest motivator. He never asked Arjuna to take up arms and fight. No. He never said that. By saying Gita, Krishna cleared all the doubts of Arjuna. He also prepared Arjuna mentally strong.

3]     Ch. 2     Slokam  11

Asochvaa navya sochastam, pragnaa vaadamsa bhaasha se
Gataa soona gataa sooncha naanu sochanti panditah

Whomever you should never recollect, you are remembering them.
You are not only recollecting them but also speaking on their behalf like a wise man.
Wise people never repent on those things that are past.

Even in our daily lives when few people sit together, we chit chat on such people who are mostly having no history.
Not worth for a pie.
Some are not at all human beings like.
Then why to think about them, why to remember them, why to meet them… So one should get rid of such waste people. The people who are no longer useful to human beings and are only useful to cast votes.

Arjuna whom he could see in the war field had some how or the other created some or the other loss to Pandavas. Then why to recollect those worthless people.
In some of the conversations Krishna was teaching on high sky high level and Arjuna was asking common questions.

My parents are waste fellows. They never did anything useful to this society, or their family or children. They could only do produce children. Actually they should preserve from whatever was given by the ancestors should be handed over to the next generation. They could enjoy the fruits of the wealth given. Instead of doing that they destroyed everything. They could not even guide children how to accumulate wealth. Those who cannot accumulate, or come up in life how they can guide others in this matter.

They tried to minimize their income to hand to mouth life.
They could never give any useful advice.
They could never encourage whom to follow.
They could make only debts. They could give only debts.
They could not buy books while entering new class, no new dress, and on top that they exploit their own children always giving wrong guidance.
Who will remember such parents?

Why should Arjuna too remember those people? Pandavas learnt everything of their own. Gained weapons of their own. The so called great ancestors like Bhishma, Drona, etc., could not guide them. Instead of helping them they even exploited them. In order to get monthly salaries from Kauravas they only tortured their pious Pandavas.

So Arjuna entering into moha is mere waste. They should annihilate those people in seconds so that the Earth can be relieved of burden.

There are certain things which made the Pandavas to destroy themselves. Mainly Dharma Raj who destroyed all the wealth given that family.

A small hole is enough to sink a ship of the size of a Titanic. Only one bad habit of gambling was enough which made them to lose their kingdom, wealth, reputation, agntavasam, aranya vasam, and then kurukshetra war.

If we cannot come up in life, or take one step up no problem. At least stay wherever you are.

Swami said, “Feel from the ground and go up and up in your life. Whenever you take the second step see that the first one is strong enough”

4]     Ch. 2     Slokam  13

De’hi nosmin yada dehe’, kau maaram yavvanam jeraa
Tadha dehaantara prapthihi dheerah sthatra na muhyati.

Human life is a continuous evolving process. Knowingly or unknowingly this process is an evolutionary process. It says that atma goes on eternally from
1.      One stage to another.
2.      One life to another
3.      One system of life to another
4.      One world to another
And so on.

The body which is a visible part perishes. It takes birth, lives and dies.
The soul takes another birth.
If somebody dies while doing something that means his time to live in this life ended then and there and goes to the next birth as destined by the god.
        Handling crores of people,
            their births and deaths,
how to send them from one birth to another?
                                    who maintains all these accounts?
                                                won’t there be errors?
                                                            Who has cross checked them?
What is the count of these many atmas?

How  millions who died have the same fate when they died at that instant?

This sloka says that there is nothing like swargam[heaven]  and narakam[hell].
If atma goes from one body to another body then whose atma remained in this space?
Of whose taddinam of atma the pujari is doing?
While doing takkinam of atma how to identify that person’s atma as that of that person whose body is cremated.
Where is the location of this atma? That means in which sphere?
If simply reciting mantras can do all these things, if we know what is clutch, break, steering one can easily drive a car.
It is said that  atmas are similar.
Is he simply reciting or does he understand the essence of those slokas?

The sloka says the great souls need not worry about birth and death.

But the pujari class says that each one is tortured according to his sins.
The soul is burnt in oil.
Here on this earth oil is very costly.
To burn one body, at least 50 kgs of oil is needed.

Somebody has been writing first hand report.
Who has seen all these things.

If daily thousands die then how much oil can be exported to narakam to burn the dead.
1.      Who is manufacturing all this oil?
2.      From where are these oil seeds brought?
3.      Who is the contractor?
4.      Why to do this frying job?
5.      After frying what will be the next stage?
6.      God who is sympathetic can’t he abolish all this system as Lincoln abolished slavery?
7.      Actually it is the sin of god. Because he has not given correct commonsense and logic to man so that man cannot sin.
8.      That means  god is also gambling.

There is one  more department called heaven.
1.      Whose gives placement to heaven company bearers?
2.      What are their qualifications?
3.      The apsarasas are whores to millions of men. Can’t they get AIDS.

How to go to heaven?
        How to go to hell?
            What are the transports?
                        Who were the drivers?
                                    What is the fuel used?
                                                How many trips a day?

If atma enters another body, all this imagination becomes virtual, and money earning to the pujaris.

5]     Ch. 2     Slokam  27

jaatasya hi dhruvo mruryardhuvam janma mrutasya ch
tasmaada pari haaryerdhe na twam shochitumarhasi

Whoever is born has to die. Puttuta gittuta korake. We know this. Still we are mad to accumulate and live forever.
The Pharaohs did the same. They wanted to remain forever.
The best thing is to accept whatever is inevitable. Great is a man who tries to prepare for the closing of this cinema.
If we go on doing things, accumulating things, etc., if death suddenly comes what to do?
If we are aware of generally the span of life, after a certain age, start closing down accounts and be prepared to depart this world. As we are happy in this world, death should also be celebrated.
One king of Russia wrote that he wanted to leave this world unwept, unhonoured, and unsung.

6]     Ch. 2     Slokam  47

Karmanye vaadhi kaaraste, maa phaleshu kadhachan
Maa karma phala heturbhuh maa te sangosthwa karmani

In this world of drama each one is given an assignment. Everyone has to do his own duty. In that course we may be given a gift. But we should not be running after gifts.

There were days when people were confident enough that they would be definitely be awarded.

Today 7-6-2013 a lady received 2000 crore dollars lottery. After listening to this we can understand that the bill was pending in the last birth. It was delayed.  Now the payment is made now.

Who expected Kiran Kumar Reddy becoming the CM.
No body expected Man Mohan Singh becoming the PM.
People expected that TN Sheshan would be the President. But it did not happen.
It is highly difficult us to do things without expecting. Even children also before we assign a work ask us what do they get?

During independence Gandhiji whole heartedly dived into the struggle to get independence to India. He never expected anything from the people. He felt it was his duty as assigned by god to emancipate India from the foreign yoke.

It was Chanukya who did develop system in such a way he could dry away the Greeks from India. He never expected anything from others.

Common people do things expecting something from their masters.
They are interested in needs, daily needs.
        They can never imagine idealism.
They are always ready to sell their time making others rich.
Great people do things just for work sake. They are idealists. In return it may benefit millions.
Eg.,
Mary Curie : She was in search of radium. In the process her entire body was radiated by alpha, beta and gamma rays. People ridiculed seeing her toiling. She was the happiest woman when she separated radium. Her work and her name is in the annuls of the history.
So we can see people happy only for good thoughts.
Most of the people are happy by spending their time happily, wasting this time in this world.
Which is correct?
We don’t know.
All the characters are needed in this drama of the world.

Only thing we should not mock at the others.
Ant is small, so elephant should laugh at seeing it.

Only thing we should not criticize others.
Lemon is sour. Sugar is sweet. … Who are we to change them? Before our arrival they were like them, now same, after us same.
The best thing is to accept whatever is in the nature.

Gautama Buddha was a Prince. He was to become emperor later. But he left the worldly things  in search of finding the truth. He was not satisfied by the truth said by different people in a different way.  His inquisitiveness strengthened. At last what he found it for himself and said to the world became perennial. He might have stayed in palace and enjoyed all the luxuries of the palace. No. He came to this world for a cause. He never expected anything from his works. He was not sorrowful for leaving  all the worldly affairs.

        Similarly we can name some.
Albert Einstein
Honey moon
Charaka
Karl Marx
Thomas Alva Edison
Ho Chi Min
Mao
And many more.

7]     Ch. 2               Slokam  62

Dhyayato vishayaan pumsaha, sangeshtu jayete
Sangna sangayate kamatkrodhobhijaayate

If we are involved in waste things, things which please, things which are non-productive, we become addicted to it.
We try to repeat them frequently.
The life is wasted like this.
Instead of being helpful others, even we cannot help ourselves.
We are burden to ourselves, our family and to the nation.
As they become non-useful, they get frequently irritated.
Their presence is havoc to others.

8] Ch. 2         Slokam   63
Krodhath bhavathi sammohaha, sammohath smruthi vibhramah
Smruthi bhramsadh buddhi naasho buddhi naasho pranashyathi
